Greenpeace aerial stunt kick-starts Suits and Boots ground campaign in B.C.

A Greenpeace publicity stunt high in the air off of the Ironworkers’ Memorial Bridge in Vancouver last week has helped kick-start a Suits and Boots pro-resource ground campaign across British Columbia. “We’ve been overwhelmed with messages and donations from everyday people who want to help us fight back against the antics of these clowns hanging from the bridge last week,” said Suits and Boots founder and Edmonton businessman Rick Peterson. First Nations Chief Calls Out “Pasta and Latté Row” Pipeline Opponents at Suits and Boots Rally

Cheam First Nations Chief Ernie Crey on Saturday called on resource supporters at a Suits and Boots rally in Langley, BC, to stand up and be heard against the “pasta and latté row crowd” trying to block the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline and other resource projects. Crey said the foreign-funded opponents of the Trans Mountain and other resource projects have dominated the news because they were “first out of the gates” and were successful in getting large turnouts at demonstrations. Smithers Resource Group Joins Suits and Boots BC-Wide May 26 Resource Rally

A fourth resource rally has been announced for May 26th in British Columbia as a show of support for Kinder Morgan’s TransMountain pipeline.
